Sam's Club is currently carrying the Larkin 1500 lb. Motorcycle Lift for $100. Many others are advertised on the web for $150 to $350 and higher. Roll it under your motorcycle, pump a few times on the foot pedal, and it lifts your ride up to 16 inches or so off the floor of your garage. This gets it to a good height for easy maintenance and cleaning. It's a good idea except the two bars on the lift that go under the bike are too far apart to place both of them below a flat area under the Savage engine!

There are motorcycle lift adapters that solve this problem mentioned and advertised on the web for many bikes, none for the Savage. They are as simple as a piece of plywood and can get pretty complicated and expensive. I am in the process of designing and building such a lift adapter for my Savage and definitely want to keep it inexpensive, simple, and safe.

I could find no messages regarding motorcycle lifts and the Savage when I searched the prior messages on this forum. If anyone else has succeeded (or failed) in designing and building a motorcycle lift adapter for the Savage, please share your knowledge and experience!
